About Dr. Johnson: Dr. Eric Johnson graduated from the UCLA School of Dentistry in 1986. Over the course of his career, he has received many honors for research on the physiology of the head and neck, which has lead to positions as lecturer at numerous schools, businesses and professional organizations on a variety of dental topics. He has also been featured on television as a guest speaker and expert on senior health care needs. Dr. Johnson is passionate about the treatment of his snoring and sleep apnea patients. He currently fabricates and fits various types of oral appliances for the treatment of snoring and sleep apnea, so every patient is bound to find a fit in device that will be both comfortable and effective. Dr. Johnson believes that every patient deserves the best and will work closely with each individual snoring and sleep apnea case until it is solved. Decisions on treatment are customized for each patient based on the individual's unique needs, preferences, health problems and lifestyle.
Dr. Johnson has practiced in Torrance since 2000 and focuses on all facets of dentistry. He specializes in the use of laser dentistry for the treatment of periodontal disease. This expertise has earned him the status of “Certified Instructor” with the Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry. In the office, Dr. Johnson provides Conscious Sedation Dentistry, a permit that few dentists in the area hold. Dr. Johnson was born and raised in the South Bay, so is familiar with the community and its people. He is an avid sailor and enjoys afternoons on the boat with his wife and three children. He also enjoys surfing and paddle boarding at beautiful Manhattan Beach.
